Software - mobileNtrip Overview

We offer a great solution for Geodesian, GPS and GIS markets. Most valuable for all land surveying companies or individuals who want to achieve centimeter position accuracy at low costs.
It is called mobileNtrip.

mobileNtrip is an application installed on mobile phone and is used for direct communication and transferring the special correction data between Broadcasters and GPS receivers via Internet over GPRS.

Communication is based on Networked Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol (Ntrip).
Using Ntrip, it is possible to decrease GPS receivers position measurement errors (10-15 meters) to submeter (DGPS format) or even centimeter level (RTK format) accuracy.
Normally, to assure the above, a set of different devices must be used. Apart from GPS receiver, data transfer connection is established using mobile phone as a modem and laptop computer or palmtop with Ntrip application installed.

Now, thanks to mobileNtrip, correction data can be received from server and sent to GPS receiver without the use of laptop or palmtop!

The mobile phone is responsible for everything: connecting to the server via GPRS, receving data, showing parameters on the display and sending data over COM cable or Bluetooth to GPS device.

It is also possible to use non-Ntrip stream to transfer any data to the Host.

We offer 2 different applications for 2 connection types:

Bluetooth:
mobileNtrip v. 3.52 - advanced version with VRS function enabled

COM cable:
mobileNtrip v. 3.50 - advanced version with VRS function enabled
mobileNtripServer v. 1.1 - special application for creating a reference station with GPS receiver

mobileNtrip was succesfully tested with Leica, Sokkia, Trimble, Topcon and other GPS receivers.

For example, the accuracy less than 20 cm for DGPS format correction data was achieved for Leica GPS receiver with Motorola V500 phone connected (see image).
